It comes in packaging that highlights its organic construction (with text you might find on a yogurt package) with easy to read numerals and a comfortable strap. She liked it so much she bought another one in another size and color, and a third watch as a gift for a friend. The Sprout is a clever design concept which makes it different from the hundreds of watches available, and inexpensive enough to own more than one to match different clothing and accessories. The packaging has a very interesting little patch of grass you can grow inside it when you get your watch out. The actual watch looks good- this model in nice, subdued green colors. The Bamboo bezel does not pop" the way it does on the pictures. Seems a little delicate, and the strap is thin. You get a regular Armitron movement with time only. I would not do anything too crazy in this watch; it's definitely a casual piece. All in all, good piece for the price. It's good when you don't need a lot of dodads and fancy features....just basic time-telling device that doesn't emit EMF like a cellphone as a time device. |
